Pay and display parking is available on West Carriage Drive and in car parks at either end of Serpentine Bridge. However, we recommend that visitors avoid coming by car as there are limited places.
Pay & Display: everyday 08.30 – 18.30
Monday – Saturday: £2.40 per hour (60p per 15 minutes, 4 hours maximum stay)
Sunday and Public Holidays: £1.40 per hour (35p per 15 minutes, no maximum stay)
Disabled badge holders and motor cyclists park free of charge but are subject to 4 hours maximum stay Monday to Saturday.

Several bus routes connect to Hyde Park Corner, with the key routes being:

The race village will be based in the Serpentine Lido Café, Hyde Park, W2 3XA (South side of the Lido)
This is the First of our FIVE Aquathlons for 2018. Additional dates are: 20th June, 4th July, 18th July and 1st August.
The event consists of: 500m swim in the Serpentine followed by a 5km (2 laps) run in Hyde Park.

The race includes:
- an accurately measured course
- a traffic free course
- indoor changing and supervised bag storage
- hand timing and results
Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal
You are welcome to enter as an individual or as a relay team (one does the swim and the other person does the run). Please note you must be a competent swimmer and if you are entering as an intergenerational relay team please note for children the minimum age is 12 years old for the swim or run. Parents or guardians must sign a consent form agreeing to be poolside if the child is the nominated swimmer.
If you have a race belt please bring it with you to ensure ease of identification.
If you’d like to support the charity through buying a Silverfit T-shirt please select yes at the event registration stage, state the size/s. Refreshments will be provided on completion, along with a finishers medal.
Start Location: Serpentine Lido Cafe, Hyde Park, London W23XA (south of the Lido). Please arrive between 6:15pm – 6:30pm for a 7:00pm race start in three waves.
Cost: £25 race entry (£22 to BTF members on production of 2015 race licence on race day). Plus an additional £5 for non BTF members or £3 for BTF members for relay participants. Children participate for free.
Online entries close midnight before the race. If the event is not sold-out, you can also enter on the day (on a first come first served basis) – registration starts at 6:00pm.
Food and drink will be available to purchase from the Serpentine Lido Cafe until 9:00pm.
Cancellation (please read)
You may withdraw from the event within a minimum of 10 days before the event. However, you will be charged £10 towards administration fees. If you wish to cancel after 10 days we will not issue a refund. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances we will issue a refund net of any costs incurred. We withhold the right to change the format of the event in rare circumstances e.g. unable to swim due to a safety issue; the event will then only include the 5k race. Transfers between events are at the discretion of the organiser and will incur a £5 administration charge. Spaces are non-transferable between participants.
On the day instructions:
Registration takes place outside the Serpentine Lido Cafe area from 6pm where you can pick up your Race Number.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE THE MEDICAL INFORMATION ON THE REAR OF YOUR RACE NUMBER.
Take in the sights of the magnificent venue as you prepare for the challenge ahead. Full changing and toilet facilities will be provided, teas, coffees and snacks for participants and spectators alike are available on the upper concourse.
Baggage can be left in the storage area. DO NOT leave any kit lying around otherwise it will be removed.
The Swim Director will call everyone to the start line at 18.55 for a short race briefing. Then you’ll be off at 19.00.
Post race: time for rest and recuperation; eat, drink and celebrate your achievement.
